The Opportunity

As Project Manager III, you will lead complex projects from inception through completion while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and mentoring project team members. You will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities


Lead Complex Projects

  • Act as the principal point of contact for assigned projects from beginning to end, managing design, production, coordination, schedule, scope, budget, and successful delivery of large or complex projects.

Manage Client & Contract Administration

  • Serve as the liaison between the client and design team while managing the contract administration process between the design team and contractor.

Coordinate Design & Construction Documents

  • Ensure the scope of work is accurately reflected in construction documents and coordinate designs with internal disciplines, manufacturers, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Oversee Fiscal Performance & Reporting

  • Take ownership of project fiscal performance, including budgets, work plans, schedules, staffing needs, and project reporting to senior leadership.

Lead & Develop Project Managers

  • Manage, mentor, and provide oversight to assigned project managers to ensure project schedules are met, fiscal performance is maintained, client relationships are supported, and scope, construction documents, and multidisciplinary coordination meet expectations.
Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible project management experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large or complex projects from beginning to end.
  • Experience overseeing project managers, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, schedules, client relationships, and project deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of design contracts, construction contracts, contract administration, project delivery methodologies, and construction document coordination.
  • Competency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu required.

  • Understanding of various project delivery methodologies

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • PMP certification or similar project management credential.
  • Experience leading large-scale commercial, industrial, manufacturing, higher education, healthcare, or mission-critical projects.
  • Proven business development and client management experience.
