As Project Manager III in enterprise Graduate Medical Education (GME), you will lead and manage multiple phases of assigned projects, using tools and techniques to ensure successful execution and achieve organizational objectives. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise to support education-related initiatives for trainees and GME programs at multiple locations. Responsibilities include coordinating projects such as locker organization, meal programs, space renovations, and problem-solving efforts. While this role does not involve providing direct education, you will serve as a key point of contact for project coordination and execution, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This is a hybrid role, with 2–4 days remote per week and 1–2 days on-site at the Main campus, including occasional travel to regional sites.
During the new hire period, on-site presence will increase to 3–4 days per week until fully trained.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
Prepare and complete action plans.
Implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
Resolve problems.
Complete audits and identify trends.
Determine system improvements and implement changes.
Meet financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements.
Participate in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures.
Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and three years of project experience in an assigned area (i.e., progressively responsible experience supporting a clinical system and/or data and financial analysis)
OR Associate’s degree and five years of experience
OR Master’s degree and two years of experience
Effective relationship building skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Ability to travel to multiple Cleveland Clinic locations throughout NE Ohio
Understands working with systems
Project Management Experience and/or GME Experience
Ability to execute project plans, project charters, work break-down structures, stakeholders, registers and risk mitigation
Strong understanding of task decomposition and delegation to effectively manage project teams, monitor progress, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
Physical Requirements:
Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.
