Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Education and experience with Project Management methodologies based on Project Management principles
- Lean education (recommended within first two years on the job)
- Experience managing projects with multiple project teams and disciplines
- Experience with PM methodologies and software
- Experience making formal and informal presentations to cross-functional teams, including senior management and key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives
- Demonstrated management skills and ability to build relationships with department managers and support teams
- Ability to effectively present and gather information at status meetings
- Ability to develop, direct, motivate and gain the commitment of cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate conceptual thinking into project definitions and requirements
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to exercise sound political and environmental judgment to support successful project implementation
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning
- Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications and design standards
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor others
- Demonstrated ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management and individuals across the organization
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative multi-functional teams and work as part of a technical integration and implementation team
