Position Overview:
Seeking a Project Manager for the implementation of a statewide voter registration and election management system. This is a high-risk project and will require strict adherence to the requirements in this posting.
This is a high-risk project with high visibility and significant complexity, therefore the Project Manager will be required to work in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment. Relevant experience in similar environments should be clearly documented in the applicant’s resume.
Duties:
·Daily interaction with stakeholders, project team members, and staff.
·Attendance at virtual and in-person project meetings daily.
·Management of project performance metrics and recording of data in CTP.
·Coordination with contractor project management team for all aspects of project performance.
·Work in conjunction with members.
·Facilitate communication between contractor PM team and staff.
·Oversee coordination of project calendar.
·Conduct briefings on project status to internal and external audiences, including the Interagency Oversight Committee.
Qualifications
·Active Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
·Documented risk management experience.
· Successful completion of a Category 1 or 2 Virginia projects of $5M or more, or completion of a non-VA projects with a value greater than $10M as PM of record. (pls make sure exp with this is HIGHLIGHTED on resume)
·Bachelor’s degree is appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
·Familiarization with the Commonwealth Technology Portfolio highly desirable.
·Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
·Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills, written and verbal.
·Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
