ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Responsible
for Donor management and Networking. Person needs to work on planning,
development, and management of PSU, CSR, HNI donors to mobilize resources and
support accountability of transparent contribution management. You will be
responsible for the analysis and management of all fundraising channels and
activities, ensuring long-term, flexible and unrestricted resources for Cankids.
Complete HAH development and successful operating procedures at HAH. Daily
coordination with respective departments on up gradation of facility, parent
and patient management. Work across all aspects of Cankids PPOP program and
assist with the regional team in all areas of work at Uttar.
The role is responsible for donor management, resource mobilization, networking, and programme management for CanKids. The position will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with PSUs, CSR partners, HNIs, foundations, and other institutional donors to mobilize resources and ensure transparent, accountable, and effective utilization of contributions.
The role will also be responsible for the overall development and smooth functioning of the HAH (Home Away from Home), including facility management, parent and patient support, staffing, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
The incumbent will work closely with the regional team and respective departments to support the implementation of the CanKids PPOP (Paediatric Psycho-Oncology Program) across the Uttar Pradesh region, including CHSUs and HAH.
1. Donor Management & Resource Mobilization
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with PSUs, CSR partners, HNIs, foundations, and institutional donors.
- Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities and partnerships to support CanKids programmes.
- Plan and manage fundraising channels and donor engagement activities.
- Ensure effective donor communication, reporting, documentation, and relationship management.
- Support transparent and accountable management of donor contributions.
- Work towards securing long-term, flexible, and unrestricted funding for CanKids.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network with relevant stakeholders and partners.
- Oversee the development, operational management, and smooth functioning of HAH.
- Establish and ensure adherence to effective operating procedures, policies, and standards.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for the continuous
Pradesh Unit
(CHSUs and HAH).

The National Outreach Program (NOP) aims to provide access to quality pediatric cancer treatment, care and
support to children with cancer and their families anywhere in India,
partnering with other NGOs, Cancer Centers, and Foundations in India and
overseas. We aim to collaborate and work with medical professionals, cancer
centers, NGOs, and organizations and individuals, in India and overseas
thereby make a significant change for childhood cancer in India.
Programme
management deals with successful and complete running of HAH including
staffing, documentation, register management, running region wise education
and TSP initiatives.

KEY
RESPONSIBILTIES AREAS:
1. Supervising region HAH management and developments.
2. Operations Management at HAH
3. Manage PPO program, implementing psycho-oncological interventions and
help in establishing new projects in northern region.
4. Fund raising through identifying new donors and
maintaining relationships with previous donors.
5. Donor management and donor communication.
6. Managing complete donor database with complete accuracy.
7. Organizing various fund-raising events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing HAH:
1. Responsible for
managing day-to-day HAH operations like transportation for kids, ration for
families etc. through HAH supervisor.
2. Responsible for
ensuring complete documentation and records of all families availing HAH
facility.
3. Extending counseling
& other support to families as and when required.
Administration:
1. Preparing necessary
arrangements for meetings of senior management team during their visits to
the region.
2. Organizing and coordinating
monthly team meetings in the region
3. Maintaining
Relationship with Doctors, key donors, NGOs, Trusts etc. working in the
region and represent Cankids in all activities.
4. Ownership &
responsibility of organizing all fund-raising Events, awareness campaigns
etc. in the region with the help of team.
5. Initiative on
suggesting new and improving existing Policies and Procedures to streamline
the activities and programs at HAH
6. Senior Manager
Operations in supporting social support team & other staff
1. Work closely
with the State Coordinator Uttar Pradesh / Head-NOP for the state wise ‘Change
for childhood cancer project as per the targets planned by HQ
2. Donor relation management for the northern
region specially HAH, Meeting with Donor and sending donation update regularly
to the HQ and immediate reporting Manager

HAH – Home Away from Home: A CanKids accommodation facility providing a safe and supportive environment for outstation pediatric cancer patients and their families during treatment.
Operational:
1. Initiative on suggesting new and improving existing
Policies and Procedures to streamline the activities and programs at HAH
2. Analysis of requirement & procurement of funds
for HAH & other activities through local resources. Reach out to new &
existing Donors accordingly
3. Ensure inter-departmental coordination is smooth in
order to carry out all programs in the region efficiently.
4. Maintain active database of all Donor data and
update this periodically.
5. Overseeing the work of HAH Supervisor in completing
processes as per the operating manual of HAH
6. Meet the government officials and other stakeholders
along with the management and ensure that the project progresses.
Reporting &
Records:
1. Responsible for monthly and annual financial
statements and oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting
2. Reporting of all activities/ events (festivals,
celebrations etc.) in the region
3. Preparing Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly and yearly
reports for the programs run in the region.
4. Preparing supporting information for the annual internal audit and external audit
