The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Project Manager (GBS Finance) role will make an impact:

  • Responsible for leading, managing and coordinating project management & PMO activities across the regions. Produce project management deliverables, which could include but are not limited to: charters, team structures, work plans, meeting notes, meeting agendas, presentations, success measures, transition plans, and program closure documentation.
  • Responsible to manage assigned GBS transition projects and technology implementations and responsible for key working documents during transitions.
  • Manage and evaluate all aspects of assigned projects – planning, executing, and monitoring/controlling team performance and project scope, integrate project plans and monitor key milestones, and provide regular status reports, executive summaries and presentations to respective stakeholders as needed
  • Manage and escalate project/program issues, risks and decisions and ensure timely follow up and adequate resolution
  • Work with Sr. Director – GBS to manage global budgets and benefits/synergy tracking for GBS initiatives
  • Responsible to integrate/align project plans across GBS and monitor key milestones
  • Perform data analysis, develop business cases, facilitate meetings, and provide recommendations on projects, initiatives and other operational issues. Support FTE assessment for the work being transitioned
  • Communicate effectively with the stakeholders responsible for completing various phases of the project
  • Coordinate with other Enterprise initiatives (IT, HR, Sourcing, Supply Chain)
  • Develop, adapt, and implement standard tools and methodologies for integration project management across regions and functions. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Project Management, Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
  • Technology/SAP implementation is preferred.
  • Transition experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong presenting skills, confident user of Power Point
  • Must possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information; work with a high degree of independent judgment and initiative, with little supervision; and ability to adjust to changing or competing priorities while still meeting deadlines. 
  • Must be team-oriented, highly motivated, possess a positive approach and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse constituencies.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Shared Service background is an advantage.
