Would you like to lead international projects that help modernize manufacturing plants across Europe? Are you attracted by a combination of technology, customer interaction, and coordination of experienced professionals?
At ABB’s Operations Center in Ostrava, we are looking for a Project Manager to become a key member of a team delivering cutting-edge automation solutions for the pulp and paper industry.
You will take ownership of projects from initiation through to successful customer handover, collaborating with colleagues and clients across multiple European countries.

What You Will Be Working On
Managing automation system projects for pulp and paper mills across Europe.
Acting as the primary customer contact throughout project execution.
Coordinating project teams and ensuring successful project delivery in terms of quality, schedule, and budget.
Collaborating with technical specialists, sales teams, and other ABB units in an international environment.
Preparing and maintaining project documentation in accordance with ABB's internal processes.
Identifying project risks, proposing corrective actions, and actively managing changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Reviewing completed projects, sharing best practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
Supporting the sales team during proposal preparation and providing expert input for future projects.
What We Are Looking For
University degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline).
Project management experience, ideally in a technical or industrial environment.
Fluent English and French for daily communication with customers and colleagues.
Knowledge of automation systems; experience in process automation or the pulp and paper industry is an advantage.
Strong ability to build customer relationships and communicate effectively across teams.
A proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and accountability for results.

Skills Required
