What you will be doing:
- Lead the discovery, scoping, and project definition phases to establish objectives and delivery plans.
- Plan and oversee the delivery of Finance Transformation projects.
- Manage the insourcing and transition of Accounts Payable into the Cape Town Shared Service Centre (SSC).
- Lead the implementation of the Oracle ERP system to streamline finance operations.
- Ensure all project activities align with organizational goals, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, such as Finance leadership and Technology, as well as external vendors.
- Engage with Cape Town SSC leadership to facilitate knowledge transfer and process adoption, while providing transparent reporting to senior management.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and scope changes while coordinating cross-functional teams to foster a culture of accountability.
What our client is looking for:
- 10 years in project management within financial services or large corporate environments.
- Proven experience leading Finance Transformation programs in highly regulated environments.
- Proficiency in end-to-end Oracle ERP implementation - ideally Oracle Cloud Financials - along with strong knowledge of finance AP processes, operating models, and controls.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Payable transition projects, preferably those involving Shared Service Centres.
- Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams while effectively managing project governance frameworks, reporting standards, and risks.
