Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Project Manager, you will support the ERP and Business Systems team by coordinating and executing project tasks across various stages of prioritized Tech and ERP projects. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the project team to ensure that project goals are met in alignment with company objectives, maintaining consistency in project standards and facilitating communication and support throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The ERP and Business Applications department is comprised of a team of technical professionals and subject matter experts who know and understand the tools that we use to support the business. We strategically define business cases, prioritize projects, and deliver ERP and Commercial projects, ensuring that dependencies are mapped out and sequenced to deliver the overall technology roadmap. Together, we host, manage, and improve a range of technical tools for all aspects of design, business, finance, logistics, global sales, and many other heroes within the organization.
If you were the Project Manager now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Assisting with project initiation by gathering requirements, supporting scope definition, and coordinating initial planning activities
- Supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and schedules in alignment with overall project objectives and milestones
- Working collaboratively with business and Tech stakeholders to support functional and technical deliverables, managing expectations, and tracking progress
- Coordinating internal resources and external vendors as needed, providing regular updates to project stakeholders and ensuring alignment on project goals
- Monitoring project risks and issues, documenting them as necessary, and assisting in the development of risk mitigation plans
- Participating in change management activities to support successful project adoption, including coordinating training sessions and preparing change-related materials
- Maintaining effective communication across project teams, reporting on project status, and ensuring that issues are escalated and addressed in a timely manner
- Supporting post-implementation activities by gathering feedback and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
- Contributing to project documentation, decision tracking, and ensuring the project aligns with established ERP and Tech standards

- Partnering with other Technology teams to deliver highly cross-functional projects
- Working with internal and external partners to deliver new solutions for the business
- Contributing to the overall development of the SAP roadmap
- Solving complex problems with peers in SAP to meet continuing developing business needs
- Looking for ways to automate and reduce non-value-added tasks
- Partnering with our Sourcing, Omnichannel and Finance amongst other business teams on deliverable
- Supporting the planning and execution of SAP and ERP system upgrades and enhancements
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the ERP and Business Systems team
- Expanding your experience in project management methodology, tools, and ERP system functionality as part of our commitment to professional development
Are you our next Project Manager?
- You have a relevant university degree or technical diploma and 5-7 years of experience in IT, Tech or ERP project management, ideally within SAP or another ERP system
- You have a PMP, Activate, or Scrum certifications
- You have familiarity with ERP systems, understanding of key project phases, and awareness of the project lifecycle within a business environment
- You are highly organized and skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing timelines in a fast-paced setting
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with team members and stakeholders at all levels
- You demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative
- You are adaptable and can balance independent work with collaboration in a team-oriented environment
- You have a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to learn, supporting both individual and organizational growth
