RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiation and Planning:
- Participate in all phases of engineering projects, including RFQ, design, testing, system integration, support, and documentation.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for engineering projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant contractual, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- May give input into developing the budget.
Execution:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective resource allocation and productivity, and resolving operational bottlenecks and technical challenges.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables.
- Act as a technical bridge between engineering and other functions, such as Sales Support, Operations, Technical Support, and Field Service, and conduct alignment meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee and manage the entire system across all disciplines.
Monitoring and Controlling:
- Evaluate and approve changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other functions.
