We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the successful delivery of a Data Migration Project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and delivering project activities while ensuring adherence to scope, budget, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
The Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project resources to ensure the successful migration of critical business data and supporting applications. The role forms part of a multidisciplinary project team delivering business analysis, data management, data migration, testing, and functional application support services.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Data Migration Project.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
- Coordinate project resources and activities across multiple workstreams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Facilitate communication between business users, technical teams, vendors, and management.
- Conduct project meetings, status updates, and steering committee reporting.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and project management best practices.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and change control processes.
- Ensure successful coordination of data migration planning, execution, testing, and deployment activities.
- Monitor project quality and ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
- Support stakeholder engagement and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
Education Requirements:
- National Diploma in Project Management, Information Technology or Information Systems or Other ICT-related qualification.
- Certificate in Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner/Foundation or Equivalent Project Management certification.
- Agile Certification advantageous.
- Scrum Certification advantageous.
Experience Required:
- 5+ Years of Project Management.
- 3+ Years experience managing Data Migration projects.
Skills Required
- National Diploma in Project Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or other ICT-related qualification
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner/Foundation or equivalent)
- Agile Certification
- Scrum Certification
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- 3+ years managing Data Migration projects
