Job Overview
iRely is looking for a Professional Services Project Manager who can join the team at iRely’s Bangalore office.
The Professional Services Project Manager will represent iRely with authority to the customer, as the leader of the implementation team and owner of the project. Ensuring a customer referral when the project is complete, while adhering to the triple constraints of cost, scope, and time is fundamental to our continued success as an organization.
The Project Manager must clearly understand the project objectives, along with the business requirements, and act as the primary interface with our customers to set the agenda, manage customer expectations, develop, implement risk mitigation strategies, proactively resolve issues, negotiate appropriately, and communicate internally & externally, utilizing the iRely implementation methodology to lead these projects to success.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for project management and ownership of multiple, concurrent medium-to large-sized, complex iRely solution engagements, adhering to and improving the iRely implementation methodology.
- Proactively and predictively manage the projects including developing task lists, scheduling resources, setting goals and priorities, ensuring deliverables are met, reporting project status, tracking and resolving issues, and customer acceptance.
- Implement change management process on engagements.
- Follow standard Professional Services operational process and guidelines.
- Act as primary interface with customer to manage customer expectations, develop risk mitigation strategies and resolve issues.
- Act as point of escalation to resolve large, complex, high-risk engagements.
- Ensure engagements are on-time and on-budget.
- Identify additional sales opportunities resulting from engagement work.
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing all aspects of software product implementation life cycle.
- Ability to clearly understand the project objectives, along with the business requirements
- Leading multiple teams and multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in using various project management tools commonly used by the software industry
Education and Experience
- BE/MBA/ME with specialization on project management, software / information systems, etc.
- 10+ years of software implementation project management experience
- PMI and or Scrum Alliance certification a plus
- Experience in Agri/Soft Commodities domain is a big plus
- Experience in working with top-tier consulting firms is a big plus
- SAP ERP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics/D365, or Sage implementation experience is highly desirable but not a requirement
