Job Description
Position Summary:The Project Manager role is responsible for leading and directing customer facing projects in the Integrated Drives Business (IDB). Scope of supply may contain products from the Low Voltage Drives Business, other Rockwell Automation products, along with 3rd party products and services. The PM will work with cross functional teams including IDB Engineering, Product Management, Finance, Quality, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) and distribution to deliver a positive experience to our customers.
Your Responsibilities:- Manages execution of multiple moderate to large scale projects within margin targets and to customer satisfaction.
- Monitor overall Project Timeline, Key Milestones, and Budget
- Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues to various stakeholder groups
- Work with Engineering and Manufacturing Location to Reduce overall Project Lead Times
- Report to Business Unit and Senior Management on progress while ensuring the project commitments are achieved
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 25% of time.
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience in Engineering or Project Management with experience in power and control, drives and/or networks.
- PMP certification or willingness to become certified as Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Proficiency with Project Management functions such as customer interface, project budget maintenance, project schedule maintenance, contract management and project resources planning.
- Experience leading, motivating and working within a multi-discipline technical team environment.
- Experience managing indirect reporting and geographically dispersed engineering, manufacturing, logistic and procurement teams using collaboration tools and remote management skills.
- Experience managing and organizing multiple projects of different complexities
- Experience communicating concisely to varying management levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong understanding of financial aspects of project management, with technical background in power and control.
- Engineering degree
- Experience in team leadership or management

- Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) products
- Background of utilizing Lean Six Sigma
