Project manager, complex tech projects (AI, infrastructure, cybersecurity)

Mandate Overview:

• Client is looking for a project manager who can oversee delivery from start to finish: they build the unique project plan, align the project with other initiatives, and report to the sponsor and steering committee. The role is decision-making since they approve change requests for resources and are responsible for quality, governance, and methodology. Supervision is functional and extends to external contributors, including the integrator, which requires experience on projects where a vendor delivers part of the solution. The tech area (AI, infrastructure, cybersecurity) is described as ideal, while experience in software integration and platform change projects is listed as required knowledge. Previous experience in Insurance is considered a major plus, a clear signal to prioritize profiles already familiar with its project governance.
  
• Candidate wanted: a project manager with over 6 years of experience delivering large-scale technology projects, certified PMP, MGP, or ACP, who has handled a project plan, budget, and accountability before a steering committee. Their resume includes at least one software integration project with platform change, ideally in a financial institution, and experience at clients puts them at the top of the list.

• Project domains: AI, infrastructure, or cybersecurity
  

Asset:

• Previous experience within the Insurance environment (major asset)
  
• Master's degree or graduate diploma in project management
  

Profiles to Exclude:

• Profile mentioning project management without demonstrated accountability for the project plan, budget, or closure. 
  
• Coordinator or PMO profile whose role is limited to administrative tracking or supporting the project office. 
  
• Scrum Master or PO profile presented as equivalent, without planning, budget, or accountability to the steering committee. 
  
• Profile whose projects on the resume are small-scale, single-team, with no integrator or external contributors. 
  
• Non-IT project management profile (construction, marketing, events) with no technological delivery on the resume. 
  
• Profile with no identifiable software integration or platform replacement projects on the resume.
