We now have a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Commercial & Industrial business and our engineering distribution team. This newly created role will report to the Program Manager and will be responsible for the portfolio of engineering and construction projects within our bulk fuel terminals in Gore Bay and Clyde, NSW (and occasionally interstate).
Job Description- Lead end-to-end delivery of engineering and construction projects in Viva Energy operating fuel terminals in Gore Bay, Clyde and occasionally interstate.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement from concept through commissioning.
- Coordinate engineering, operations, HSE, contractors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure projects meet technical, safety and compliance requirements.
- Prepare project documentation as per project management framework, forecasts, approvals and progress reporting.
- Drive strong contractor performance and support continuous improvement in project delivery.
About you
- As a minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical or similar).
- Experience in engineering and/or project management (ideally within fuel terminals, oil & gas, petrochemical or heavy industrial environments / Major Hazard Facilities).
- Understanding of engineering design, construction, commissioning and operational interfaces.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and operate effectively in live, brownfield environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
