- Strategic Planning: Capital projects aligned behind the business strategy. Resources and capabilities in place to deliver according to agreed strategic milestones
- Project Management: Overall project management for all major projects from budgeting, planning, utilization of leading project management tools, implementation of globally best known engineering designs and solutions, timely execution, resource management, and communication.
- Project Delivery: Projects executed according to agreed plans and to Ingredion standards. Provide technical process, project expertise, and consultation to engineering activities, supporting completion of major capital projects
- Resource & Budget Management: Responsible for CAPEX Goal and engineering resources; and subsequently delivering according to Goal to meet the business plan.
- Project Excellence: Further establish China Engineering standards aligned to corporate guideline.
- Besides routine work as Engineering Manager, to be a hands-on project engineer to personally do certain key projects, e.g. participation of safety program (MOC, RA, HAZOP etc) during project process, managing contractor safety and project execution standard, performing various engineering calculation and analysis related to process design and equipment sizing and selection, defining process controls and developing engineering design such as site layout, PFD, P&ID, Material Balance, Technical Specification review and resolution regarding the project, project commissioning, machines’ troubleshooting and solution, etc. Have maintenance experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills,
and Requirements:
- Qualifications – Bachelor Degree or above in chemical, mechanical, electrical or control engineering
- Experience - Minimum of 10 years in engineering and project management within a multinational company, managing people in multiple locations. And with projects exceeding at $10MM. Experience in a similar industry and experience in line operations management role preferred
- Language – Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
- Networking & influencing – Comfortable and effective at communicating with multiple stakeholders at different levels to get “buy-in”
