Project Manager, Business Transformation (Remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager, Business Transformation, to lead and execute critical projects that drive business change and process improvement across the organization. Reporting to the Director, Business Transformation, you will be responsible for managing complex transformation initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and delivering measurable results. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, business acumen, human-centered design, and change management skills.
Success in this role will hinge on the ability to facilitate collaborative problem-solving sessions with cross-functional stakeholders. The candidate should be experienced in using approaches that foster systems thinking and cross-functional empathy, guiding both leaders and end users through the transformation process. Expertise in design thinking to help diverse stakeholders visualize complex systems or processes is highly preferred.
Please Note: Whilst this is a remote role, preference is for someone who resides a commutable distance from our global headquarters in Reston, VA, as regular travel to Reston for in-person collaboration with internal stakeholders will be required.
What You Will Do:

Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of business transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and key cross-functional stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Change Management: Partner with the Business Transformation Office’s change management team to develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational structures. Address resistance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Human-Centered Design: Incorporate human-centered design principles into project planning and execution to ensure that solutions meet the needs of end-users. Engage with stakeholders to understand their experiences and challenges, and design solutions that prioritize user experience and satisfaction.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Proactively address issues that may impact project success and escalate concerns when necessary.

Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to optimize performance. Implement best practices and drive process standardization.

Continuous Improvement: Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and apply insights to future projects. Contribute to the development of project management methodologies and tools.
What You Will Bring With You:

7+ years of professional experience.

Project management experience in one or more of the following disciplines: business transformation, process improvement, human-centered design, organizational change, technology and digital transformation, customer experience, and/or strategic management.

Experience leading cross-functional projects in a corporate or client facing environment.

Experience with project management and collaboration tools and software (e.g., MS Project, PowerBI, Mural, Teams).

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$84,533.00 - $143,706.00
