Project Manager (AV)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Project Manager (AV) on our dynamic Collaboration Solutions team, you’ll harness your expertise in audio-visual technologies and collaboration platforms to design and implement the next generation of application and infrastructure solutions for our customer and global organization. This role involves driving the success of AV projects, delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for collaboration technologies, and spearheading pilot initiatives in an agile corporate environment. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Lead the design, deployment, and commissioning of capital AV projects within APAC, ensuring they adhere to high-quality standards and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to ensure AV initiatives align with strategic objectives.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for AV systems and workflows, ensuring accessibility and transparency for all stakeholders.
• Deliver training and guidance to users, empowering them to effectively utilize AV technologies.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for video conferencing and collaboration platforms, working closely with the operations team to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Support a range of collaboration tools, including Microsoft Copilot and emerging AI-driven technologies, to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Lead Technology pilot programs to evaluate and assess new AV solutions, focusing on their usability, scalability, and impact on the user experience.
• Offer detailed insights and actionable recommendations based on pilot program findings

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Proficiency in core project management lifecycle (budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder communication, execution, commissioning, and project closure)
• 5+ years of experience in commercial AV gained from a corporate environment
• Experience in AV technology design for space enhancement projects
• Experience in deployment of digital virtual solutions such as One-drive, whiteboarding, and products in the Microsoft suite
• Experience initiating and leading experimental pilots to test and identify optimal AV solutions
• Understanding of IPTV and digital signage solutions, including lifecycle management and advanced configurations
• Advanced knowledge of video conference tools and troubleshooting (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
• Skilled in audio DSP, video processing, and platforms such as Biamp, Q-Sys, Extron, or Crestron.
• Implementation experience within general office, conference spaces, training facilities, event spaces and more
• Good interpersonal skills including networking, collaboration, communication, time management, being able to adapt to different audiences, environments, and cultures
• Ability to be flexible, and to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with remote management of AV vendors
• A solid understanding of virtual event-based software solutions
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
