The Project Manager’s main target is the management of AutoStore projects from contract to final acceptance. In close cooperation with sales, he contributes already in-the-sales phase to the potential project with his know how and experience. He supports a smooth transition from the sales into the implementation phase and later into the service phase. He/she shall be comfortable working in a startup environment and is open for a wide range of tasks at different locations.
General Project Management requires general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process.
Your tasks
- AutoStore solutions Project management from contract to final acceptance.
- Contribution to the project sales.
- Smooth transition from sales to realization to service.
- Constant customer communication, maintaining a strong client relationship.
- Consult the customer during the project, identify opportunities.
- Evaluate opportunities, consult, propose, negotiate and agree solutions / changes.
- Financially improve the project during the realization phase.
- Support the setup and development of the project implementation.
- Training and onboarding of new people.
- Support the setup of the optimal lean project organization with own / partner competencies.
- Support the development of standard solutions (e.g. g-t-robot picking) to differentiate.
- Introduce / improve templates (project documents, calculation tools) and realization processes.
- Support / Training of new colleagues also at other locations.
- Education: Tertiary qualification in Business administration or technical degree in engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with project management.
- Proven portfolio of managed projects.
- Experience with project and team management.
- Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processes.
- Microsoft office suite knowledge including OneNote.
- English – fluent (both spoken and written).
- Travel within the region – High.
- Motivation to be a key member in setting up a new business (start-up environment).
