About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Project Manager Assistant Vice President to join the Data Solutions team. With the full integration of legacy Mirador and legacy AltExchange into iCapital Data Solutions, we've unified the best of breed into a single, powerful platform. This role will be integral in delivering iCapital data solutions core goals of streamlining data aggregation, automating reports, enhancing transparency and delivering improved efficiency for our clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with project product managers and other product and project teams to document user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria in JIRA, ensuring requirements are communicated in a clear and detailed manner and priorities are clearly communicated.  
  • Become a subject-matter expert in Alternative Investment Data Management.
  • Engage with end users, clients, and internal business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities, document issues, report on progress and recommend improvements. 
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap project and test plans that are consistent with company strategy and product priorities.  
  • Serve as the evangelist for your product area through meetings and presentations with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Work alongside the engineering teams to ensure development efforts are carefully planned and timelines for delivery are both accurate and transparent.  
  • Facilitate and guide groups through processes to help them make decisions and find solutions.   
  • Assist with producing collateral internally and externally such as quarterly roadmaps, user guides, requirement documents. 


Qualifications

  • 6-10+ years of experience in a similar role  
  • Previous experience in financial services or at a financial technology company with Alternative Investment experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated project and program management experience, including working knowledge of project management and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Monday, Confluence, Lucid Charts, Figma, MS Office Suite)
  • Previous experience working as a scrum master and related responsibilities such as sprint planning, managing daily standups, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, used to working in multi-location teams and 'managing by influence' 
  • Able to lead the end-to-end planning and management of small to medium projects and/or lead a work stream within a large strategic initiative 
  • Experience defining process flows and user stories, business and technical requirements, and performing quality assurance activities
  • Assess, identify and mitigate the risk areas for each project activity and actively working on activities to manage risk 
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations related to the program and/or activities 
  • Interface and collaborate across key internal stakeholders (product, engineering and project teams) and external parties to deliver results and ensure consistent service delivery, client solutions and client satisfaction 
  • Facilitate working group sessions, as needed, to drive initiatives forward, including obtaining consensus and approval from all stakeholders 


Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $170,000 depending on level.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
