Project Manager / Product Owner

We are looking for Technical Project Managers and/or Product Owners with experience in professional services to join our team! What you’ll be doing:

Pre-sales Project Management (75% of the time):

• Ability to submit proposals for potential project work
• Ability to produce estimates into a resource plan
• Ability to support with submitting RFP's
• Setting the timeline, budget, and roles for implementing the project
• Participate and support in client pitches and proposals by preparing project budgets, timelines, and related materials.
• Leading the discovery meetings with the potential client and the final proposal presentation with a clear value proposition.

Project Management (25% of the time): 

• Manage and deliver technical projects, products, and apps on budget, on time, on schedule, and to a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Define (with key stakeholders) and manage project scope, risk, schedule, budget, quality, and communication.
• Lead 1 or 2 smaller sized project teams through all phases of the project life-cycle providing coaching, motivation, and inspiration
• Responsible for project revenue management and reporting
• Effectively interact with clients at a variety of levels.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of project management experience managing technical professional services, and digital projects.
• A track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget while maintaining effective client and team relationships.
• Highly developed communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse range of talents, personalities, and teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines and maintain a good sense of humor, tact, and professionalism.
• Analytical and financial skills to forecast and report revenue, expenses, and project completion milestones.

Must Haves:

• Strong technical background. 
• Can work independently and proactively.
• Flexible and agile.
• Great communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in XR/VR or emerging technologies.
• Financial services project experience.
• Agile Certifications.
• Fluency in French.

Location
This is a 100% remote fulltime position, however candidates based outside of Canada will be required to work for the company as independent contractors.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is CAD $80K to 110K annually (or the equivalent hourly rate for candidates outside of Canada, who will be working as Contractors). The salary/rate offered will be based on skills and experience.
