About the Role

KUBRA is hiring a Project Manager -12 month Contract  to lead the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of technology projects across client-facing and internal initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact, take ownership of meaningful work, and contribute to high-quality delivery within a mature and supportive PMO environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver solutions that align with timeline, budget, and quality expectations. The role calls for strong stakeholder awareness, emotional intelligence, and sound project leadership, with the ability to build trust, navigate competing priorities, and communicate effectively across teams and leadership levels.

 
This is a hybrid opportunity in Mississauga, ON.

How You’ll Contribute

     
    • Lead end-to-end project delivery by defining scope, planning tasks and resources, managing schedules and budgets, and applying the right delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid). You’ll also quickly ramp up on solution design and support delivery across projects or programs as needed.
    • Monitor and control project performance by tracking progress against scope, schedule, and budget, proactively identifying risks and issues, driving mitigation plans, and managing change control while clearly communicating impacts to stakeholders.
    • Own project communications as the primary point of contact for status updates, meetings, reporting, and presentations. You’ll ensure clear, effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
    • Drive requirements and delivery alignment by facilitating stakeholder discussions, defining clear business requirements, aligning teams on project vision and goals, and establishing agreed-upon acceptance criteria.
    • Lead and support project teams through resource coordination, planning and estimation, day-to-day direction, and coaching to ensure efficient execution. You’ll also drive strong project closure, including lessons learned.
    • Ensure strong governance and quality by following KUBRA PMO standards, maintaining accountability for project outcomes, and using tools, including AI, to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement.

    • Experience leveraging tools and automation, including GenAI, to improve reporting, efficiency, and project administration

Skills That Matter in This Role

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in client-facing delivery, plus 2+ years of Business Analyst or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, PMP, or equivalent practical project delivery experience
  • Experience leading projects across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and change
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
  • Proficiency with Jira, Planview/AdaptiveWork, MS Project, and MS Office
  • Solid understanding of software delivery environments, including cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, reporting, and delivery
