The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Civilian Human Resources (HR) Office requires additional support to meet increased workload demands. The Coast Guard’s ongoing automation efforts have significantly increased the need for resources to review, classify, and staff civilian positions.
The Project Manager will serve as key personnel supporting one or more task orders. This position will provide project leadership, administrative and management support, customer coordination, schedule oversight, and financial monitoring to ensure task order requirements are implemented effectively, on schedule, and in accordance with the applicable statement of work.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Project Manager for a task order or group of task orders.
- Assist company management in working with the customer’s representative, management personnel, and customer agency representatives.
- Provide operating advice and assistance to the customer on administrative and management issues.
- Manage assigned task order(s) under the guidance of company management.
- Ensure technical solutions and task order schedules are implemented in a timely manner using benchmarking and program metrics.
- Coordinate task schedules and activities to ensure that solutions developed or implemented are consistent with customer objectives and the statement of work.
- Monitor task order performance and support timely identification and resolution of administrative, management, schedule, and implementation issues.
- Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the statement of work.
- Adhere to financial obligations established at contract award through financial reporting and analysis.
- Provide status, performance, schedule, and financial information to company management and customer stakeholders as required.
Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of progressive project leadership and management experience; or
- Associate’s degree and five (5) years of progressive project leadership and management experience.
