Position Overview:

You will manage diagnostic software system projects that support dealer-facing electronic service tools, manufacturing systems, and engineering processes. In this role, you will coordinate project scope, schedule, cost, validation requirements, supplier activities, and issue resolution to help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, technical leads, program leadership, and third-party suppliers to support project execution and communication. This is a compelling opportunity to contribute to software-enabled service tools that support product diagnostics, dealer service capability, and cross-functional execution across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple electronic service tool integration projects of varying scope and timeline under the guidance of a program manager.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope, schedule, cost, validation requirements, and overall execution plans.
  • Monitor project status, track progress against commitments, and support completion of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate project plans and deliverables with third-party electronic service tool suppliers.
  • Communicate project status, key issues, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders through regular project reviews and updates.
  • Follow up on action items identified during project reviews and drive closure with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Partners with technical leads to analyze project issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with program leaders, functional managers, suppliers, and internal teams as needed.
  • Support invoice processing activities related to integration projects.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business, engineering, science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience with an associate’s degree or equivalent; minimum of 4 years of project management experience without an associate’s degree.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong project planning, execution, organization, and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and firm schedules.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to a broad audience.
  • Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, technical leads, suppliers, and program stakeholders.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate technical details is preferred.
  • Experience supporting product development process programs is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, or science is preferred.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $75,000 to $99,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.  While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range. 

To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
