At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.

Join FlixBus India and play a key role in expanding one of India's fastest-growing intercity mobility networks. As part of the Project Associate - Operations team, you will drive the execution and closure of compliance initiatives across all operating regions. You will be the central coordination point between Safety, Fleet Coordinators (FCs), Regional Operations Managers (ROMs), Ground Operations, and external stakeholders - ensuring critical processes are actioned, tracked, and closed on time. Beyond follow-ups, you will dig into operational and compliance data across multiple datasets to surface trends, identify root causes for recurring issues, and turn insights into better process adherence and operational performance.

About the role

  • Coordinate with regional and field teams to drive the timely closure of action items.
  • Track compliance against defined processes and highlight gaps or delays proactively.
  • Analyse operational and compliance data across multiple datasets to identify trends, surface insights, and support root-cause analysis for recurring issues - not just report numbers.
  • Maintain trackers and status reports for ongoing initiatives.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure accountability and adherence to timelines.
  • Support governance of operational, compliance, and safety-related programs.
  • Escalate overdue actions and unresolved issues to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the execution of cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.

About you

  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, program management, compliance, or project coordination.
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
  • High ownership and follow-through - you close loops and hold others accountable without being chased.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Power BI, plus solid Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple trackers simultaneously and stay organised under competing priorities.
  • A data-driven approach to problem solving, with strong analytical skills - able to deeply interpret data, run deep dives across multiple datasets, proactively spot trends, and drive root-cause analysis (RCA).

Nice to have

  • Experience in mobility, logistics, transportation, or fleet operations.
  • Knowledge of or hands-on experience with vibe coding and AI tools to automate processes and develop solutions.

We recognise that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences. If you think you could have an impact even though you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply - we want to hear from you!

What we offer

  • Hybrid work model: a 5-day work week with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
  • The opportunity to work in a rapidly scaling, tech-driven environment shaping the future of mobility.
  • High-impact ownership of governance and compliance execution across operating regions.
  • Broad cross-functional exposure to Safety, Operations, Ground Operations, and external stakeholders.
  • A learning and development budget and clear growth exposure into broader operations and program management roles.
