About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO (Project Management officer) to support the successful delivery of complex client projects and managed services. This role sits at the intersection of project management, operations, governance, financial oversight, and portfolio reporting, ensuring execution excellence across multiple initiatives.
You will work closely with project managers, production managers, delivery teams, clients, and business stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, monitor performance, and uphold governance standards throughout the project and service delivery lifecycle.
What you’ll do
Your main responsibilities, part of an international context and in collaboration with internal delivery teams, will be:
Project Operations & Governance
Support the planning, execution, and governance of projects and managed service engagements.
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
Coordinate project reviews, status reporting, risk management, and executive reporting activities.
Monitor project health and proactively identify, escalate, and track risks, issues, and dependencies.
Facilitate project meetings, operational reviews, stakeholder updates, and action tracking.
Operational Excellence & Process Management
Act as a governance and quality control focal point for project delivery and production management processes.
Promote adoption of delivery methodologies, best practices, and operational standards across teams.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Ensure consistency and compliance with established governance frameworks throughout delivery lifecycles.
Financial Management & Performance Tracking
Track project budgets, forecasts, expenses, invoices, and financial performance metrics.
Analyze budget variances, resource utilization, and operational costs.
Prepare financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders and management reviews.
Support change request management, effort tracking, and backlog planning activities.
Backlog, KPI & Reporting Management
Manage and monitor project and operational KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
Track backlog health, service requests, incidents, defects, and delivery performance indicators.
Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting materials.
Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Portfolio & Business Support
Support portfolio governance activities, business reviews, and leadership reporting.
Consolidate project and program data across multiple initiatives.
Prepare presentations, portfolio updates, service performance reports, and executive summaries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate operational insights and analytics.
Stakeholder Coordination
Partner with project managers, delivery teams, clients, system integrators, and business stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between operational activities, project objectives, and business priorities.
Drive communication, follow-up actions, and coordination across multiple teams and workstreams.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management Office (PMO), Project Operations, Project Coordination, Governance, Delivery Management, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and operational processes.
Experience supporting large-scale projects, managed services, or technology delivery environments.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred
Experience within financial technology, capital markets, enterprise software, consulting, or managed services environments.
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum, PMO, or equivalent).
Experience managing portfolio reporting, governance committees, and executive-level dashboards.
