Responsible for overall coordination, development and implementation of one or multiple simultaneous complex/large project(s). Provides a single point of contact for projects. Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver projects according to plan. Defines the projects objectives and oversees quality control throughout its life cycle.
 
What you will do
  • Manages large complex projects for Fund and Fee Business function.
  • Coordinates project resources, both internal and external
  • Manages project expectations and ensures project is on time and meeting deadlines and benchmarks.
  • Ensures all parties have tools, information and direction and removes roadblocks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Creates and maintains project plans for large/complex projects
  • Facilitates necessary dialogue ensuring all parties understand their roles and responsibilities to drive project forward.
  • Tracks tasks and facilitates meetings necessary to review and complete assigned projects.
  • Trains and supports less experienced Project Leaders within the Fund Change Center of Excellence including new hire training and mentoring, assisting in new product roll outs to the team, and helping team members identify resources and gaps in process.
  • Participates as a resource in companywide initiatives such as system enhancements and new product roll outs.
  • Works closely with key stakeholders to develop practical technology solutions and plan/implement solutions, including, but not limited to, business case development, data analysis, requirements/solution definition, and roll out support.
  • Sets and manages client expectations, by answering questions, coordinating and facilitating meetings, seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships within the project landscape.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrates high level of autonomy and degree of decision making
  • Escalates high impact decisions and issues related to errors to management
  • Assists in the development of complex processes and procedures for the department and Empower as a whole.
  • Relies on extensive knowledge to improve and implement new processes
  • Works with clients, advisers, outside fund companies, and any other external parties required to participate in conversations around changes as requested by clients.
  • Performs review of data and activity to prevent risk of loss due to errors
     
What you will bring
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related experience.
  • FINRA Fingerprinting Required
  • Project Management skills to successfully manage complex development projects.
  • Excellent organizational multi-tasking, project and timeline planning, leadership, judgment, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to set goals and work with little direction.
  • Professional office environment and regular use of office equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, this role is regularly required to type, reach with hands and arms, sit for long periods of time, read, write reports and correspondence, listen, verbally communicate, present information and respond to questions, collect and analyze data, problem solve, concentrate, follow direction.
  • Some travel may be required.
