BW/4HANA: Lead the design and development of complex, scalable data models using BW/4HANA Advanced DSO (aDSOs), Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views based on LSA++ principles.
Native HANA: Lead the design and development of complex Native HANA information models using Calculation Views (Graphical/Script based, Star Join) and Stored procedures
SQL Script Expertise: Develop/Write, debug and optimize advanced stored procedures, table functions, and scalar functions using HANA SQL Script to implement complex business logic
ETL & Data Integration: Build and maintain end to end data flows from SAP S/4HANA and non SAP sources using ODP enabled extractors and CDS views
Data Provisioning: Implement data integration from SAP S/4HANA and non SAP sources to Native HANA using BODS and SDA.
Performance Tuning: Perform comprehensive performance tuning using PlanViz and SQL analyzer to optimize HANA models, reducing query time and memory usage
Security & Transport: Coordinate with security team on roles, privileges (analytic, structured, package), and manage transport of BW/4HANA and HANA models using CTS
Architecture Consulting: Proactively suggest ideas for performance enhancement of the existing Native HANA and BW/4HANA landscape (DTO, Table/DSO Partitioning, Logging Framework, Data Quality Check Framework, Automated Monitoring etc.)
Preferred qualifications:
8 12 years of total experience, with at least 5 6 years of relevant experience in Native HANA standalone (not on HANA with BW)
SAP Certified Data Engineer ‿ SAP HANA and/or BW/4HANA
Expertise in SQL and CDS scripting
Experience with architecting/designing, and optimizing end to end Native HANA and BW/4HANA solutions, leveraging advanced data warehousing concepts, SQL Script, and LSA++ architecture to drive maximum performance, scalability, and system tuning
Skills Required
- 8-12 years of total experience
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in Native HANA standalone
- SAP Certified Data Engineer - SAP HANA and/or BW/4HANA
- Expertise in SQL and CDS scripting
- Experience with architecting/designing and optimizing end to end solutions
