The role involves in successfully managing a team of 10-15 Editors. Project Lead will be responsible to lead and motivate the team of editors in successfully performing the tasks. Provide Leadership and guidance to the team in day-day operations and ensuring the overall objectives of the team and program are met.


Requirements



Key responsibilities include:

  • Allocate work and instructions to the team according to prioritized lists established by client
  • Work with Operations Manager and other key stakeholders to develop Team goals, and delegate Tasks.
  • Create and Communicate a clear list of expectations and goals for the team members.
  • Guide the team by defining the duties, roles and responsibilities of the team members.
  • Nurture collaboration amongst team members
  • Arrange Periodic (Daily, Weekly, Monthly or on need basis) reporting of the team performance.
  • Involve in planning of the on the effective utilisation of the team, executing, monitoring, controlling, an
  • Review observations from team of Analysts for consistency and format compliance.
  • Define peer-review exercises to measure levels of team agreement and make inferences about team quality performance and any aggravating factors impacting the determinism of team judgements.
  • Track daily progress against assignments and maintain time-to-complete estimates.
  • Alert Operations Manager when time-to-complete estimates or Quality have significant variation from assumptions in the prioritized list of  Assignments.
  • Ensure accuracy of time recording for hourly invoicing. Maintain team calendar of planned vacation and unplanned absences.
  • Monitor staff performance. Provide appropriate quality and productivity feedback at least weekly. Summarize quality and productivity performance for a Weekly Team Report.

Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated ability to perform first-line supervision of small teams of knowledge workers at a customer’s site.
  • Ability to foster collaborative positive working environments with a diverse workforce.
  • Working knowledge of content engineering projects and quality control techniques for assessing the repeatability and accuracy of human judgements.
  • Working knowledge of database engineering terms and concepts, especially as they apply to data sources and products that describe geo-referenced business listings.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to collate information from disparate datasets and draw statistically sound conclusions from representative samples.

 

Required Competencies/Experience:


  • 6-8 years of experience working on Map Development program
  • 4+ Years experience in handling teams of 10-20 team size.
  • Has experience working on digital map production environment and responsible for Delivery and Quality functions.

  • Ability to foster a collaborative, positive working environment with a diverse workforce
  • Working knowledge of content engineering projects and quality control techniques for assessing repeatability and accuracy of human judgments
