- Direct day-to-day project management processes for complex workforce development initiatives, including work-based, employer-driven, earn-and-learn programs
- Lead cross functional teams with internal/external work groups to develop and improve multiparty initiatives on complex business projects that involve local/state/federal grants
- Responsible for project management related to business/industry driven workforce development, apprenticeship projects and contract/corporate training involving direct day-to-day project management processes
- Responsible for grant-funded project activities, such as tracking and reporting of data related to trainees, apprentices, training, revenues/expenditures, and other deliverables to meet all project milestones
- Responsible for maintaining internal and external relationships with appropriate stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of workforce development and apprenticeship goals
- Research and identify proper funding sources to support and generate new opportunities for apprenticeships and workforce initiatives for business/industry/community
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of apprenticeship and/or workforce development project management processes and procedures, including data tracking, budgeting, and reporting
- Experience with local, state, and/or federal grant agencies and tracking/reporting systems such as RAPIDS and Appian Cloud based platforms
- Knowledge of budgeting/accounting principles and internal systems such as Colleague
- Experience developing, managing, supporting, and coordinating financials, managing grant budgets, grant reporting, and grant data
- Knowledge of apprenticeship structure, management of apprenticeship and workforce data
- Ability to make business-critical decisions and choose the best course of action in any given circumstance
- Experience and knowledge working with internal systems/management tools such as Excel, Salesforce, Marketplace, and Colleague
Key Responsibilities
- Strategize on how to best approach a task and develop a concrete plan to lead and accomplish workforce development and apprenticeship project success
- Disseminate information among team members and key stakeholders
- Track project progress and ensure all documents are organized for all initiatives and business solutions
- Set goals and motivate team members to accomplish workforce development and apprenticeship targets and milestones, delegating tasks as needed to support successful project completion
- Effectively manage team group dynamics to ensure positive work environment and achieve departmental goals
- Provide and share knowledge for process improvements to address the effectiveness of work processes and solutions
- Lead negotiations of resolutions for complex team projects by analyzing matrix data, determining the status of business relationships, timelines, and budget and performance goals to come to a solution that best accomplishes project completion
- Work cross-functionally with internal/external work groups to develop and improve multiparty initiatives for complex business projects that involve local/state/federal grants and apprenticeships initiatives
- Communicate appropriately with upper management regarding key initiatives, progress updates on various projects, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree (preferred) or High School Diploma with three (3) years in workforce development and/or apprenticeships (required)
- Three (3) years grants management experience
- Five (5) years basic budgeting/accounting experience
- Three (3) years managing data for complex projects
- Two (2) years leading and managing project management processes of apprenticeships and/or workforce initiatives
