Our subsidiary, Integrated Circuit Testing GmbH (ICT GmbH), with ~170 employees, develops and produces electron microscopes, the heart of our machines, which monitor processes in semiconductor production and classify the smallest defects on wafers. To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location near Munich, Germany is constantly growing and this position supports relocation.

The Project Lead (m/f/d) within our product management team is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new e-beam (electron beam) technology projects. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring technical requirements are met, and driving innovation in e-beam applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management experience and would be responsible for the transfer of new electron-optical developments from an R&D prototype/pilot into a product ready for serial production.

Key responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Create project schedules/plans for New Production Introduction (NPI) phase (transfer from R&D to Production) by adhering to the timelines, key milestones for prototype readiness, as well as ramp to pilot and volume.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to stay on track with project timelines and objectives.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on e-beam technology and applications.

  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and validation of e-beam components and systems.

  • Collaborate with R&D teams to drive innovation and improvements.

  • Ensure that all technical requirements and specifications are met or exceeded

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.

  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including senior management.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure clear communication of project goals, progress, and challenges.

Risk Management:

  •  Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure that risk management plans are implemented and followed.

Documentation and Compliance:

  •  Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.

  •  Maintain thorough records of project development processes, decisions, and changes.

Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree in engineering or in any scientific field
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage, not a must
- Experience working in a cross-functional, global team environment
