This position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.
This role is contributing to the automation project engineering and delivery. Main stakeholders are Engineering, PM, Sales, Proposal, SCM teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
- Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
- Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
- Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
- You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with DCS and the Chemical/Pharma market
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have more than 5 years of experience in automation system design and delivery
(OPTIONAL: working as system engineer with 800xA and Batch function - Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in 800xA with Batch function
- You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around project solution development, system design and leading project delivered to customer.
- Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of bachelor in engineering
- You are at ease communicating in English
