Engineering Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Engineering team in AUEN in Egypt cluster. Main stakeholders are Sales / Sales Support / Project Managers / Service team.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
- Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
- Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
- Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.

Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working with Engineering tools and methodologies in the industrial automation market like Oil & Gas Petrochemicals, Power generation and water, Pharmaceutical, and food & beverage sectors
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have +5 years of experience in industrial automation systems like DCS, SCADA, PLC, RTU, Instrumentation and digital solutions.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of industrial Automation systems 800xa, S+, Freelance DCS, AC500 PLC, RTU, and cyber security
- You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around leadership, time management, communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Engineering
- Proven experience of +5 years in industrial Automation systems in energy sectors
- You are at ease communicating in Arabic and English, French is a plus
