This Position reports to:
Engineering Manager- Oil, Gas & Chemical (부장)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.
The work model for the role is: Onsite # LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Process Automation in South Korea.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
• Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
• Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
• Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
Qualifications for the role
• Over 2 years of experience in plant, working as project engineer with DCS
• Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, engineering(P&ID convert to DCS graphic, SAMA convert to DCS Logic & Loop), commissioning, and trouble-shooting of DCS, HMI, EWS
• Experience of Sub-vendor management, Documentation (Vendor print), and Customer training
• Experience with cybersecurity in industrial control systems (ICS), including firewalls, intrusion detection, and secure remote access.
• Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

• Ability to travel to domestic frequently (Over 50%), and international sites rarely
