This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Develop design documents and project deliverables as per specifications.
- Design and implement ICSS system & solutions
- Conduct integrated system testing (FAT).
- Perform startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and provide technical support.
- Possess automation experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, and Process Industries.
- Have knowledge of industry and functional safety standards (preferable).
- Experience in systems hardware, application development, and testing of control systems, including familiarity with industrial communication protocols, system configuration, and cyber-security (desirable).

Qualifications for the role- 10+ years of experience and Experience in IEC standards, design, application programming, and project management (desirable).
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in software and hardware design, commissioning, and testing with any DCS, including 800xA (advantageous).
- Experience in designing, configuring, integrating, and implementing process control solutions for oil & gas, chemical and specialty chemical segments.
- Ability to develop equipment specifications for projects involving HMIs, DCS systems, and hardware.
- Knowledge of field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives) and working knowledge of interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.).
- Strong skills in network engineering, IT developments, and application engineering tools, with the ability to lead a team and manage project deliverables.
- BE/BTech/Diploma in Engineering (Control and Instrumentation or equivalent).
