The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Business Development Team. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year.  These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of programme 
  • To provide logistics and operational support, including assisting in liaisons with participants, VIPs, speakers, internal departments, branch offices, etc.
  • To liaise and maintain good relations with vendors, working partners and industry associations
  • To handle enquiries from event participants 
  • To provide on-site event support to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality participant experience
  • To assist in preparing reports, presentations and post-event evaluation
  • To provide administrative support, including data input, scheduling, documentation and coordination across teams

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Prior experience in customer services/ project management/ event organizing would be advantageous
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels
  • Good team player with a collaborative and positive attitude
  • Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
  • Willingness to work long hours to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive, self-initiated and very attentive to details
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word-processing
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome
  • The contract period is from September 2026 to November 2026

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration package will be offered.
