The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.
The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.
As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2026 and begin a new three-year business cycle, our mission remains as strong as ever to help Hong Kong thrive in trade and businesses succeed in the ever-changing landscape.
Responsibilities:
· To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of programme
· To recruit participants for the Belt & Road Summit
· To provide logistic support, including assisting in liaisons with overseas participants, VIPs, speakers, internal departments, branch offices, etc.
· To liaise and maintain good relations with working partners and industry associations
· To handle enquiries from event participants and undertake on-site duties
· To undertake administrative duties as and when necessary
Requirements:
· Prior experience in customer services/ project management/ event organizing is preferred (Fresh graduates are also welcome)
- Mature, meticulous, proactive, with teamwork spirits
- Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels
- Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
- Willingness to work long hours to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word-processing
- The contract period is from Jul – 30 September 2026
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
