The opportunity
For our GIS – PASS Factory in Savli - Vadodara, India, we are looking for Electrical Engineer with expertise in the field of HV or MV Engineering. You will join a dynamic, motivated, and creative team with a variety of experience and competencies. You will be responsible for providing the technical expertise and execute the primary engineering as the project primary lead engineer for the GIS/PASS switchgear for different voltage levels (145 KV GIS / 245 KV GIS / 420 KV GIS).
How you’ll make an impact
Participate in the Technical Kick off handover meetings with Project Manager / Tendering
Read through the customer specifications and compliance reports as per the customer requirements.
Define the milestone deliverables (Base Design / BOM / Detail Design) as per the project requirement.
Preparation of Electrical and Gas SLD, Plan and Section drawings based on various offer / tender and customer specifications.
Preparation of 3D modelling of high voltage GIS for various substation configuration
Preparation of Guaranteed technical particulars of GIS and HV equipment such as Breakers, disconnectors, GIB etc. for submission to customer.
Delivering all the Detail Design Tasks (Rating plates / Cable / Earthing / Civil requirements / As Built etc)
Execute DtV Process during the Base design phase.
Contribute to the Margin improvement of the Project.
Accountable for the On Quality Delivery of the milestones of the project as per the Milestone database
Preparation of bill of materials (SD BOMs) and release in the SAP as per the Milestone database. Preparation of technical documents for procurement of Current transformers and voltage transformers.
Participate in customer meetings as required. Active participation in project review meeting
Supports trouble shooting for factory and onsite issues and provides disposition actions.
Can do proper root causing analysis for the quality issues.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 2-5 years of experience in primary design/engineering of substations, preferably GIS Engineering.
Knowledge on IEC/IEEE/IS standards.
Hands on experience in 3D tools like ProE / CREO, AUTOCAD-3D, MS Office.
Hands on experience of SAP system (MM module).
Expertise in GIS Project execution process knowledge will be an added advantage.
MV/HV substations Design & Engineering knowledge.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language.
