Your analytical skills and ability to assess capacity and production forecasting will support effective coordination of materials, schedules, and crossfunctional teams to ensure ontime product delivery.

 Core Functions: 

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and purchasing teams to develop and adjust schedules to meet production goals
  • Supervise team members related to the manufacturing process
  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
  • Monitor the production process, making routine production reports, and resolving any potential delays
  • Update production schedule to include changes, availability of raw materials, and capacity constraints
  • Ensure that all necessary resources are available for the production process, including labor, materials, machinery, and tooling
  • Loading materials into manufacturing equipment
  • Assess and identify any issues that might impact the production schedule and implement corrective actions where necessary
  • Drive completion of orders from receipt of PO to product shipped and work with required parties to resolve issues along the way
  • Communicate with management and other stakeholders about the status of production schedules and any potential issues that may arise
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status/timeline of their product, related challenges, and solutions.
  • Optimize production operations for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensures all required DHR documentation is complete
  • Updates Bill of Materials and system standards to align with actual product runs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Background/Expertise: 

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required
  • Strong understanding of production processes and procedures to effectively plan, schedule and monitor production activities.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess production capacity and forecast production needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments such as procurement, production, and logistics, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Time management skills to create and maintain accurate production schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and address scheduling issues or bottlenecks that could affect production timelines.
  • Detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple schedules and tasks simultaneously without errors.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and program management tools, providing accurate and real-time production updates.
  • Leadership skills to guide and motivate the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Manufacturing plant setting with standard office space for administrative tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds multiple times throughout the day
