DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor production projects, ensuring
they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Technical Oversight: Provide engineering expertise throughout the project
lifecycle, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, project managers, and
other departments to ensure seamless project execution and communication.
• Resource Coordination: Manage the allocation of engineering resources,
materials, and equipment to support project activities efficiently. Make sure
of issue from store and resubmission on site or store with proper tracking
methord.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections
to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including
engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address technical issues that arise during
project execution, providing solutions to maintain project flow.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding
project updates and technical inquiries.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with health, safety,
and environmental regulations, conducting safety assessments as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by
identifying areas for efficiency gains and enhanced productivity.
Requirements
• Experience: 3-5 years in project engineering, preferably within ship repair or shipbuilding.
• Strong technical knowledge and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in engineering design software and project management tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Willingness to work in a marine environment, including shipyards and onboard vessels
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or related field)
- 3-5 years in project engineering, preferably within ship repair or shipbuilding
