Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for the development of customer products and/or projects from early customer engagement through production. This individual is responsible for the monitoring of customer products through the manufacturing process. The Project Engineer will keep the customer informed of the product status throughout order entry and manufacturing.
Major Duties
- Track programs from early development through production / implementation against schedule, reporting status to leadership and customers
- Maintain schedules alongside the production planner to develop a strategic plan to satisfy customer request dates
- Maintain open order reports and distribute to customers
- Provides constant communication between internal team and customers
- Customer account oversight, including customer communications and project coordination
- Ensure that the right product is developed to meet or exceed company's quality standard and is delivered at the right time
- Monitor and debug methods and procedures to ensure total system efficiencies
- Identifies, documents and communicates established work procedure and standardized method as needed
- Work with front office administration team to maintain timely order acknowledgement
- Performs other tasks as required.

- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office software and ERP systems
- Capable of developing and accomplishing short and long-term objectives in an organized and detail oriented manner
- Possess the necessary skills to establish priorities and provide prompt response to internal and external parties
