We are looking for a technically strong Project Engineer who takes ownership of structural integrity, calculation accuracy, and system performance within complex architectural projects.
This is a role for an engineer who understands loads, safety margins, standards, and how theory translates into buildable solutions.
Within our Engineering (Design Team) and R&D department, you will play a key role in the development, validation, and optimization of ceiling and wall systems used in high-end and technically demanding architectural projects.
What you'll be doing
· Engineer complex, non-standard ceiling and wall constructions
· Perform and validate wind load and structural calculations according to relevant standards
· Translate architectural concepts into safe, manufacturable solutions
· Develop calculation models and improve engineering methodologies
· Support R&D in the development of new standard systems
· Review and optimize technical drawings and system documentation
· Act as a senior technical reference within the team
· Your work directly impacts safety, compliance, and performance in real-world conditions.
Technical Environment
· AutoCAD (2D)
· Inventor (3D)
· Wind load calculation model (developed by HD and TNO)
· Rhino (3D)
· Revit / BIM workflows
What we’re looking for
· 5+ years of experience in mechanical or construction engineering
· Strong analytical skills and structural insight
· Experience working on technically complex building-related systems
· Ability to work independently and take technical ownership
· Clear communication skills (Dutch or English)
· HBO degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Engineering
