Position Summary

  • Work Schedule: M-F during regular business hours

  • 100% on-site based in Manassas, VA

Our Manassas, Virginia site is a part of the Consumer Health division and provides expanded capabilities in soft chews and lozenges. With extensive development and manufacturing expertise and a wide range of flavors, ingredients, and colors available, we can work with complex formulations to help create engaging new products consumers will love.

The Role

  • Facilitate the removal of roadblocks and barriers that hinder or delay project progress.

  • Conduct review of quotations for accuracy and alignment with project goals.

  • Provide project status reports and advise management and customers.

  • Maintains project plan and other project documentation in an organized and secure fashion.

  • Publishes agendas for meetings prior to meetings and publishes minutes in a timely fashion after the completion of meetings.

  • Communicates with supplier, vendor or contractor on project requirements and expectations.

  • Facilitate responses to customer questions and audit observations.

  • Ensures project requirements embraces current cGMP, EHS, and Financial industry standards.

  • Stays current with the regulatory requirements and industry trends for project management.

  • Other duties assigned.

The Candidate

  • Bachelors in Engineering or related physical sciences, including, but not limited to Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering required.

  • 3+ years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably pharmaceutical, food, nutraceuticals, or healthcare product manufacturing required.

  • 2+ years of project management experience or other experience that demonstrates successful team leadership and project completion required.

  • Previous experience with LEAN manufacturing is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of how to scope and quote capital requests and forecasting is highly preferred.

  • Continuous Improvement experience is preferred.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and financial reports.

  • Ability to write plans, engineering drawings, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.

  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.

  • Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently.
