We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Dunedin. In this role, you will be responsible for the skilled engineering activities needed to get the job done and for leading and being a role model to a team.

In addition to the above you will:  

  • Manage resources, including subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for the day to day running of the project site and progress of works
  • Prepare correspondence/programming and cost estimates
  • Have financial management of projects, cost control and claims

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer delivering projects.
  • Experience/ knowledge within civil contracting
  • Appropriate tertiary level qualifications – likely Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Strong financial and contractual acumen.
  • Experience in and understanding of project management principles
  • Survey experience, machine control and digital data management would be an advantage
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with clients and internal/external teams
