Project Engineer

For Project Engineering services in the Capital Projects areas. 

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Life Sciences and five (5+) years of exposure in Project Management activities within the regulated industry. 
• Ensure compliance with GMP & GDP.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Shift: Administrative and according to business need.
• Experience in:
  • Use of MS Project for planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Project Management life cycle
  • Project Schedules, subcontractor and overall project supervision, and start-up support

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Provide technical interpretation of design documents.
• Execute work in accordance with quality standards and site requirements.
• Performs assignments independently with minimal guidance as to the general results expected, often dealing with unusual or complex problems.
• Provides direction and regular contact to consultants, vendors and contractors assigned to the project.
• Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all parties.
• Keep site management informed of all circumstances that could affect projects.
• Prepare weekly project reports detailing project progress.
• Review and compare discipline drawings for inconsistencies, omitted information and conflicts, etc.
• Interface between craft and engineering to resolve drawing issues,
• Interaction with disciplines: subcontracts, material management, project controls and automation tools.
