The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing internal engineering/manufacturing productivity projects—that sustain, improve and support existing products and processes. This includes handling product/process improvement, cost reductions, digitization and manufacturing report automation. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, etc) to ensure that products remain safe, compliant, cost-effective throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, schedule, milestones, deliverables; coordinate resources; monitor progress; ensure timely completion.
Cross‑Functional Coordination: Act as liaison between engineering, quality, manufacturing etc. to ensure alignment of requirements and deliverables.
Budget, Cost & Resource Management: Estimate project costs, track budgets, forecast resource needs, manage variances.
Risk Management: Identify risks/issues early; develop mitigation plans; escalate as necessary.
Qualification & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business Studies (Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Industrial, or related field).
Minimally 2 years of engineering experience in medical device / regulated environment. Experience in project management or leading technical projects is required.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders.
Problem solving mindset; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
