Job Description:
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Dallas team!
This individual will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies.
To be successful in this role, you must have knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing. A bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is required. You must be able to perform mathematical calculations, understand architectural and engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems. You also must be able to assume responsibility, interface & communicate effectively.
Some things you can expect to do:
- Help generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and track approvals
- Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination
- Assist Project Manager & Superintendent with creating and executing field action plans
- Assist in coordinating and tracking Vendor & Subcontractor deliveries
- Gain an understanding for overall site logistics and jurisdictional permit inspection processes
- Accompany Ryan personnel and Owner on punchlist inspections, record punchlist items, and monitor completion of punchlist work

- Ability to travel as needed to execute projects
