Job Description:
Ryan Companies US, Inc has an immediate opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team in Dallas! In this entry-level construction role, you will support the project team in completing a designated project while actively learning Ryan's processes, procedures, and business policies. You will gain hands-on experience in both field and office operations while working on a construction site.
Some things you can expect to do:
Help generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and track approvals
Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination
Assist Project Manager & Superintendent with creating and executing field action plans
Assist in coordinating and tracking Vendor & Subcontractor deliveries
Gain an understanding for overall site logistics and jurisdictional permit inspection processes
Accompany Ryan personnel and Owner on punchlist inspections, record punchlist items, and monitor completion of punchlist work
To be successful in this role, you must have a four-year degree in construction management or related field or a two-year constructions certificate with at least 2 years of industry experience. Ability to demonstrate understanding of mathematical calculations, architectural and engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems is required. You must be able to assume responsibility & interface and communicate effectively with a great attitude and work ethic.
