We are looking for results-driven, technically curious Project Engineer, Stack Engineering. You are dependable, understand priorities and approach your work with an analytical mindset. This position is based in Raleigh, NC.

Job Overview
As a Project Engineer at Ohmium, you will be part of a talented engineering team working on electrolyzer design. You are a problem solver and know that there are multiple ways to find solutions through open dialogue and collaboration across teams. You are a team player and love sharing your knowledge with others. Each day will offer new and exciting challenges, including but not limited to: 

Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop deep expertise in product design and operations to enable continuous feedback between field operations and system engineering. 
• Support engineering design activities across a range of engineering disciplines
• Develop the project plan, overseeing the execution of project field upgrades
• Coordinate with teams to identify, prioritize and track risks to improve product quality
• Work closely with engineering teams to support next generation design activities 
• Monitor each stage of the project and facilitate communication and interaction amongst the team and cross functional representatives.
• Document and present detailed estimates of cost, time, and capability, track project schedules and deliverables against goals.
• Report status to project team, supervisor, and business unit leadership on a regular basis
• Risk management and implement recovery plans for the parts of project that are off schedule
• Support operations and engineering teams towards the ongoing agile product development and standardized process development to continually improve effectiveness of project and production teams.
Required Qualifications, Education & Experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Nuclear, Materials Engineering, or technically equivalent discipline (e.g., Physics)
• Comfortable working across wide range of technical disciplines
• 2+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing company, focused on high technology products; intern or co-op experience considered
• Strong English communication skills – both written and oral
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects within a matrixed organization
• Demonstrated attention to detail, critical thinking skills, especially the ability to understand, and resolve conflicts and provide meaningful feedback to project stakeholders on project risks
• Motivated to act, self-driven with the ability to hold oneself and others accountable to deliverables
• Proficient with MS Office Programs; MS Project or similar project management software preferred
• Comfort working across global time zones including India

Preferred Qualifications, Education & Experience
• Experience in Development Engineering or Operations
• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector
• Experience or desire to work in a start-up environment
