Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will lead and execute capital projects, ensuring innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality technical solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver projects that enhance productivity, safety, and environmental performance. With a strong focus on financial management and stakeholder collaboration, you will drive success in every phase of project execution while adhering to Mondelez standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Project Development & Execution: Scope, design, and deliver capital investment projects aligned with Mondelez's strategic goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Develop state-of-the-art engineering solutions, optimize resources, and implement best practices.
  • Financial Management: Accurately plan budgets, forecast cash flows, and manage capital expenditure using ERP systems like SAP.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, and more to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Evaluate tenders, negotiate terms, manage installations and service deliveries, as well as oversee and ensure safety and quality compliance for on-site activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, safety, and quality across the factory.


What You'll Bring

  • Strong engineering expertise with experience managing capital projects in the food or FMCG industry.
  • Background in mechanical or related engineering, with proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, project management software, and ERP systems.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of GMP, sanitary design, and safety standards.


Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with ATEX systems and hygienic design for food industry applications.
  • Hands-on experience in risk assessments, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations.
  • Fluency in English; Norwegian is a plus.
